 Although we hope this will be an exceptional circumstance in 2022. We are following the guidelines written in the professional association VVR and the Ministerial Decree of 20/03/2020 saying that with every cancellation due to Covid-19 the traveller has the right to apply on a personnel travel voucher valued at the paid travel sum which allows the traveller to postpone the trip till 3 years after cancellation. On the other hand the purpose of our Surf Experiences will always be to give our mates a much deserved worry-free feeling. To be outside, relax, meet new friends, enjoy the value of hospitality. This is why we decided to be more flexible about our cancelling conditions, this by giving the free option of a full repayment of the full travel sum. In this way you will never lose any money due to Covid-19.

We ask you to keep in mind that this pandemic can mean taking extra measurements into consideration before your trip to the location of destination . For example the possibility of presenting a negative Covid-19 test, taking protection masks with you for during the trip, notifying our team when feeling sick before, during or after the surf trip. And always being aware of the common guidelines of the WHO:  
(1)Staying home when feeling sick

(2)Wash your hands regularly with water and soap        

(3)Keep a 1,5m distance when making contact with people outside of your bubble        

(4)Wear your mask when the required distance of 1,5m can not be reached        

(5)Minimize physical contact.

Every individual has his or her own bed, or will share a double bed with their sleeping partner. We will make sure that every bathroom and bedroom gets a daily cleanup and that the bathroom is shared with a max of 3 persones Next to that we will be mostly outside for the daily activities, surf, yoga. Here we also make sure that every equipment is disinfected before and after every use.

Yes, for everyone aged 12 or older we ask to bring your personal mask. This will not be needed during your stay at the villas. But when going outside the resort, there is the possibility that wearing masks is obligatory in certain places.

Please always take contact with us in these situation, in this way we can understand the situation better and help you with finding the right solution. And never take unnecessary risks. When you tested positive with Covid-19 before departure to a WaveMate Experience these are the following things you should do: Stay for 7days in isolation. In these 7 days, there is a 3 days minimum where you have to stay symptom-free before leaving isolation. When feeling sick, without testing positive with Covid-19, we ask to be symptom-free 5 days before your departure.

Because our aim is to deliver a unique experience to every Mate, the group will never be bigger than 50 people every week. In Morocco we can only welcome 25 people to the Villa.
